Can men use Spironolactone with reduced risks of breast enlargement?
I understand that when testosterone levels go down, the remaining estrogen takes charge and induces secondary female characteristics for males. ***My main goal is to reduce the testosterone levels but not so much that estrogen takes control.***
I am mainly taking this for three reasons to be met with a resolution:
1) Acne
2) Oily Skin
3) High Blood Pressure
What would be the optimal dosage for a male to resolve these extremities? I was thinking of consuming 50mg daily or every other day? Would this be efficient enough to keep away gynecomastia? If not, what would be the 'initial signs' one would look for before gynecomastia starts? If indeed it starts, can one resume the drug as a latter course in time?
Can a certain testosterone level be kept by the infrequent use of Spiro over time. As in can one decrease the dosage to x about of times in a month to keep a certain level?
I would ask a doctor all these predicaments, but sadly I am a student who cannot afford health-care currently. Your gratitude is deeply appreciated. Thank you.
